Tough Times

Recently, my older son on the spectrum had a meltdown at his second cousin's birthday party at the Houston Zoo--embarrassing. My two sons also got in a fight at Chuck-e-Cheese over the prize coupons. (Seriously, they have a whole bunch of toys and do not need anything from Chuck-e-Cheese.) My nephew was also acting pretty oddly during a trip to the mall during our recent trip to Houston--trying to close the door to every shop. My nephew is almost three and has been getting some government services, but he has not been diagnosed with autism.

I needed a vacation from the family vacation to Houston when I got back to Austin.
